Kevin and Kate

These guys tied the knot early September 2019, on one of the last days of the summer and my last wedding of the season. One of their friends sang Kylie’s ‘Love At First Sight’ during the ceremony and it took every inch of my self control to not put the camera down and start dancing in the aisle. Besides the banging choices of musical offerings there was also one STUNNING wedding dress, a big red bus full of chilled alcoholic beverages (Routemaster - take note), a Groom’s speech to end all Groom’s speeches (Kevin happens to be a massively talented playwright), a stellar sunset and unashamed, wild abandon on the dance-floor. Basically the perfect goodbye to the summer and a manic wedding season.

Annie and James

Annie and James got married back in August 2019. It was a two-day wedding extravaganza complete with two ceremonies, two outstanding speeches from the mother’s of the bride and groom, two glorious wedding dresses (one gold and sparkly, the other vintage and customised by the bride), a LOT of pies at the wedding breakfast, some serious shapes thrown after dinner and at the after after party ;) and one pint of milk downed on the dance-floor. Here’s a tiny glimpse of some of my fave snaps from the day.

Kate and Michael

These guys got hitched at Merriscourt Barn on a particularly blustery day in the Cotswolds. Featuring runaway hats, unruly veils, rebounding confetti and croquet on the lawn. Obvs. Here’s a glimpse into a very gorgeous and very windy wedding.

Katie and Sam

It’s taken a while to get this wedding up on the blog…but sorting through some summer wedding photos on a January evening is always a good idea.

On one of the more blustery days from last summer Katie and Sam got married in the picture perfect village of Easton on the Hill, just outside Stamford. From glorious sunshine to ominous clouds to wind whipped confetti, this day was an absolute corker. All capped of nicely with a beautiful sunset, a lengthy conga line and some bare-chested men. What more could you want?

Here are a few of my faves from their day. Enjoy!

Celestine and Sam

What. A. Wedding. Country mansion, glorious sunshine, croquet, vodka shots and peacocks. Celestine and Sam threw one helluva party and I am so grateful to have been a part of it. Also...THAT DRESS IS EVERYTHING. Congratulations you gorgeous pair xx

Joe and Lottie

Years ago I worked with Lottie, selling pizzas out of a van at rainy festivals to drunken crowds all over the UK.  A few months back we were together again amongst a drunken crowd who had a healthy lust for pizza. Fortunately this wasn’t a rainy festival but an exquisite vineyard tucked away in the Tuscan countryside. And the boozy bunch were not rampant festival-goers but her friends and family, all congregating poolside for the first evening of a three day wedding extravaganza that would see Lottie and her fiancé Joe marry in the medieval town of San Gimignano. The wedding was big, the dress was bigger and the hangovers…well, the hangovers were worth it. Here’s a small slice of an absolute cracker of a wedding weekend.

Hannah and Matt

This beautiful wedding in the sleepy town of Stamford saw me as guest and not photographer. But I couldn't resist bringing along the camera. And I'm so glad I did. You know you've thrown a good wedding when two hundred guests conga all the way around the outside of the marquee...and the groom and groomsmen serenade the bride with a sterling rendition of 'Pretty Woman' to round off events.
